<p>OPM rock band <strong>Rivermaya</strong>&nbsp;made their return to live television last January 14 on the popular show "ASAP Natin 'To."</p>
<p>It featured the classic line-up of Bamboo Ma&ntilde;alac, Mark Escueta, Nathan Azarcon, and Rico Blanco in promotion of the band's highly anticipated reunion concert scheduled for February 17, 2024, at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Para&ntilde;aque City.</p>
<p>Introduced by Janine Gutierrez, Darren Espanto, and Maymay Entrata, the band kicked off their performance with the 1997 hit, "Elesi."</p>

<p>The band's history is marked by transitions, with Bamboo Ma&ntilde;alac's departure after the "Atomic Bomb" album, leading to Rico Blanco stepping into his role.</p>

<p>Despite these changes, Rivermaya endured, and Nathan Azarcon and Mark Escueta, alongside longtime guitarist Mike Elgar, continued to carry the band forward even as Rico Blanco pursued a solo career in 2007.</p>
<p>Overcoming the challenges of coordinating the members' commitments, the much-anticipated reunion concert was officially confirmed on November 6, 2023.</p>
