<p>OPM artist Rico Blanco graced fans with a fresh rendition of the timeless classic, "You'll Be Safe Here,&rdquo; a song he wrote during his Rivermaya era. Blanco was lead vocalist until he left two years after writing the single &ndash; being one of his last few projects with the band.</p>

<p>Blanco's latest take on this beloved track emerges after the original Rivermaya version was withdrawn from streaming platforms. In this reimagined release, the &ldquo;Your Universe&rdquo; artist kept the lyrics, but with subtle adjustments to the arrangement - particularly noticeable during the second verse.</p>

<p>The cover art for this revival was meticulously hand-painted by Blanco himself; the artwork features dark, haunting trees, reminiscent of the iconic visuals from Rivermaya's original music video set in a mystical forest.</p>

<p>Notable covers have emerged from artists such as Kean Cipriano, Adie, Janine Te&ntilde;oso, Elmo Magalona, ST. WOLF, and most recently, Moira Dela Torre. The latter&rsquo;s rendition was prominently featured in the soundtrack of the highly-anticipated DonBelle drama, "Can't Buy Me Love."</p>
