Still remember this iconic line from "One More Chance?" This year, we're going to catch this unforgettable story onstage as a musical with Ben&amp;Ben!
"One More Chance," the 2007 blockbuster film starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, will be adapted into a musical by the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), featuring the songs of the nine-piece indie folk band Ben&amp;Ben.

The announcement was made during the curtain call following the 8 pm performance of "Walang Aray" &nbsp;last October 22, 2024.
&ldquo;Hindi namin kabisado ang mga linya [ng &lsquo;One More Chance,&rsquo;] promise! Huwag kayong mag-alala, hindi kami ang a-acting. Music lang po kami,&rdquo; Ben&amp;Ben continued, which made the audience laugh while clapping.
Their first song was "Kathang Isip," which instantly put the audience in a mini-concert mood.

When PETA shared the news on their social media pages a few hours later, reactions began pouring in. Some questioned why Ben&amp;Ben was chosen, given that the band was formed in 2017, around 10 years after the release of "One More Chance."
"One More Chance" tells the story of a young couple, Popoy and Basha, who have been together since college, promising to love each other forever. Years pass, and Popoy becomes an engineer while Basha becomes an architect. At some point, Basha feels suffocated in the relationship with the over-caring Popoy, leading to their breakup.
PETA has announced that details about the playwright, director, actors, and other members of the artistic team will be released in stages.
