Yes, online reservations are no longer needed. The Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) will now oversee all visa-related procedures on behalf of the South Korean embassy, and the application fee is a flat rate of P900, regardless of the type of visa you're applying for.
This brand-new visa processing facility operates from Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., with closures on weekends, Philippine holidays, and Korean consulate holidays.
During the KVAC's inauguration ceremony, South Korean Ambassador Lee Sang-Hwa expressed optimism that the visa application process, which has been a source of concern for many, will significantly improve with the establishment of KVAC.

The Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC) processes various visa applications in approximately seven to eight working days, sending applicants notifications via text message about their application status. It's recommended to visit KVAC in the afternoon for passport collection due to morning crowds.
KVAC also accept applications through designated travel agencies, except for specific cases processed at the South Korean embassy. It has efficient facilities with 20 reception counters, four release counters, and four payment counters, offering computer and photocopying services. There's no daily application limit, but expect potential long waits, especially initially.
Parking is conveniently available both at the KVAC building and at SM Aura, which is just a three-minute walk from the center.
