<p>Raquel Pempengco, mother of Jake Zyrus (formerly Charice Pempengco), reacted to the viral performance of <strong>SB19's Stell Ajero</strong>. Charice Pempengco was known for her powerful singing voice and was a muse for David Foster in the "Hitman: David Foster and Friends" concerts from 2010 onwards. Charice's rendition of "All by Myself," originally by Celine Dion, received significant praise during these performances.</p>

<p>The P-pop boy group member showcased his singing prowess by performing "All by Myself" during a surprise number at the Hitman concert held at Araneta Coliseum on June 18, 2024. Ajero's performance has been widely discussed and praised.</p>

<p>In response, Raquel Pempengco posted on Facebook, jokingly suggested that Stell should match her now son&rsquo;s past performance to surprise people.</p>

<p>She wrote, &ldquo;<em>Gulatin mo din mga tao&hellip;mag-Charice Pempengco ka ulit&hellip;hahaha joke lang pero in fairness magaling si Stell Ajero&hellip;mala-Jed Madela din but still don&rsquo;t compare with Charice.</em>&rdquo; She acknowledged that her opinion might attract criticism and addressed potential backlash, stating, &ldquo;<em>Oops just saying lang ha&hellip;It&rsquo;s my own opinion&hellip;Dadami n naman busher ko&hellip;Peace yow!</em>&rdquo;</p>
<p>Raquel had previously faced online clamor in 2023 for her comments about Morissette Amon's performance of Whitney Houston songs during the Hitman concert series.</p>
