<p>Filipino rap legend Gloc-9 has released a new album, &ldquo;Sari-Sari Story,&rdquo; produced by the renowned OPM figure Raymund Marasigan. Recorded in just over six weeks before his Australia tour, this album highlights Gloc-9's skill in creating music that resonates deeply with listeners.</p>
<p>&ldquo;Sari-Sari Story&rdquo; features ten tracks, each telling a unique story that showcases Gloc-9&rsquo;s storytelling talent. The album was released in stages, with three tracks debuting in the first week of June and another three in the second week.</p>

<p>Gloc-9, whose real name is Aristotle Pollisco, drew inspiration for this album from the many stories he has heard and his own imagination.&nbsp;He has written numerous songs in the past, but &ldquo;Sari-Sari Story&rdquo; feels special to him. It is like a collection of varied tales and characters he has encountered or dreamed up. Working with Raymund Marasigan, a legend he has always admired, helped him refine his songwriting and craft ten powerful songs.</p>

<p>One standout track, &ldquo;Tinda Ni Linda,&rdquo; exemplifies Gloc-9&rsquo;s storytelling skills. It tells the story of a man fascinated by Linda, who runs an eatery, only to discover a dark secret behind her dishes. This track has already gained attention, featuring on Spotify&rsquo;s New Music Friday Philippines playlist and Apple Music&rsquo;s new OPM releases.</p>
<p>To celebrate the album&rsquo;s release, an exclusive listening party was held, attended by notable OPM hip-hop acts and artists like Flow G, Omar Baliw, Hellmerry, and many others. The event featured a unique listening experience with a 180-degree LED wall and top-notch sound system, leaving everyone impressed by the innovative storytelling and production quality of &ldquo;Sari-Sari Story.&rdquo;</p>
