<p>Started as a one-month trial project in September, has now been officially extended until December. In response to the enthusiastic support from the public, Makati City has declared that Ayala Avenue will be designated as a car-free zone every Sunday until the end of 2023.</p>
<p>During Sunday mornings throughout the remainder of the year, Ayala Avenue will be off-limits to vehicles from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., spanning its entire 2.3-kilometer stretch from Courtyard Drive to HV Dela Costa/Salcedo Street. Both the west-bound and east-bound lanes will be inaccessible to automobiles as part of this initiative.</p>
