Salamin, salamin, ano ang dapat kong gawin?

The nation's beloved girl group, BINI, recently addressed controversial allegations linking their hit song "Salamin, Salamin" to witchcraft. The group responded during a press conference held after their debut as brand ambassadors for the e-commerce shopping platform.

"Actually, hindi po kami nakaka-open ng social media po dahil sobrang busy namin. Ngayon lang po namin nalaman ‘yan pero hindi na po natin ma-control ‘yung utak ng ibang tao," Jhoanna, the leader of BINI stated.

The controversy began when a post from the Follow Jesus Ministry Facebook page claimed that BINI's trending track could “bring our hearts away from the Lord.”

The post included a screenshot of Viavi James' book "Mirror Magic" and highlighted lyrics from "Salamin, Salamin" with a caption saying, “Itong “Salamin Salamin’ yung sinayaw sa church pero no problem... KJ, Religious, OA, legalist pa’ yung nang-rebuke at nag-advise. ‘Di po ‘yan KJ, pagmamahal po ‘yan. Salamin2 is a Witchcraft song… Please wake up church!”

The post concluded with verses from Deuteronomy and The Second Letters to Timothy, stressing the importance of spiritual vigilance.

Despite the uproar, the group denied the false claims and stressed their dedication to making music that connects with their fans.
