The OPM rock band Aegis is set to hold a Halik sa Ulan: A Valentine Special concert on February 1 and 2 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. This marks the first time the band will perform without one of their vocalists, Mercy Sunot, who passed away in 2024 after a battle with cancer. The concert aims to honor Mercy&rsquo;s memory while celebrating the band&rsquo;s enduring legacy in Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

Iiyak po talaga kami, pero pinipilit po namin,&rdquo; she shared.
 Despite their loss, the band assured fans they will perform &ldquo;with all their heart and soul&rdquo; for their departed sister. Meanwhile, Director Frank Lloyd Mamaril shared that he is prepared to support the band in case emotions run high on stage. He reassured fans that this Valentine&rsquo;s concert will be even more special due to the deep emotions poured into each performance.
 Aegis&ndash;&ndash; composed of Juliet and Ken Sunot, Stella Pabico, Vilma Goloviongo, Weng Adriano, and Rey Abenoja&ndash;&ndash; will perform iconic anthems such as "Basang-Basa sa Ulan," "Luha," "Sayang na Sayang," and many more, bringing nostalgia and passion to this heartfelt tribute concert.
